Preaching what you Practise?

Today I was tested and it has been made clear to me how I cannot defend myself in a Christianity conversation.
The word evolution came up in a conversation between me and another non-christian friend. Neither of us know much about it but i explained what I heard, something along the lines of, "magic-goo...bacteria...chemical reactions...monkeys" Seems pretty far-fecthed but then that is how I view the evolution theory.
But then she said something that knocked me completely off course, "I may not know much about evolution or this 'magic-goo' but it's probably about as easy to believe as a 'magic-man creating people out of nothing'"
And I was stomped.
She is a hard one to tackle, very opinionated, and can seem to get herself out of any question in a great way.
And so I did what any useless person would do, I said nothing.
I can't defend my own beliefs...brilliant.

i know how you feel. But just remember that when sharing the Gospel God does the work in the heart, not us. We are just his instruments so you could come up with all the facts and the reasons why you're right and it STILL wouldn't do anything if God wasn't working in their heart. :-) Don't be discouraged!

Evolution = propaganda, they have easily led people to believe it because it is forced on us everyday. Even as kids we constantly here dinosaurs lived "millions of years ago" even in places like school our text books don't offer much alternative.

Try that for some answers to "evolution" though sometimes answers aren't a good thing.
