"Julie-Anne Gordon, you are living a life of sin. Repent. Turn or burn."
Yeah whatever. I would love to have a life-altering Damascus-style conversion, but the reality is that I don't. My testimony is plain and it is simple. It does not involve bright lights, temporary blinding or loud voices booming from the heavens. However I have been told to not be ashamed of my testimony even though it is simple and without a twist of drugs, alcohol or sex. (All of which would make my testimony more interesting to say or to listen to). I have been told to rejoice in the fact that I grew up in a Christian home and attended church from an early age. Despite these assurances I still am anxious about sharing my testimony, I have never done it before and parts I don't remember as I was quite young. This year the team has been asked to prepare their testimony's for Kittys Road. I'll let you know how it goes.

:) I can't wait to hear it. I am still working on mine eesh..
Mine is no more interesting than yours in that sense, but I've been told by a lot of people that it's still very powerful. With testimonies like ours, the emphasis is less on "And now I love God instead of drugs" and more on the ways His glory has been revealed to you in more subtle (yet still just as awesome) ways.
I'll be praying for you! I wish I was going to be there to hear it. When are ya'll coming over here to see us? :)
Oh I wish I was coming over to your side of the pond! Hopefully one day. Thanks for the support. :)
